Payments are entries into the EnterYourHours.com indicating that a payment was received from a client against an invoice that was sent out. When you receive a payment from a client, you can enter it into the EnterYourHours.com System and it will automatically be applied to outstanding invoices. Unforutnately, clients do not always pay in ways you expect. Clients may pay you for an earlier invoice, but still have more recent invoice outstanding. Clients might also pay you too much or too little. The Payments Tab works in conjunction with the Aging Report, and it's a goodway to track your cash flow, and see which clients are late with their payments or are going to be late soon. If you use Quickbooks Integration, keep in mind that the EnterYourHours.com does nottransfer payments to Quickbooks. You should enter all payments directly into Quickbooks. |
